Lockdown inspired me to practice new methods of storytelling.
I wanted to uplift people of all ages experiencing this pandemic - using classical cinematic conventions that will never grow old.
I wanted the "Recipe for Happiness" to work for my actress and viewers alike.

VISION
In Buster Keaton's films, his characters tend to immerse themselves in theatrical escapades, accompanied by a witty companion.
I envisioned my film to reflect the foundations of Keaton's storylines, whilst using a female protagonist to challenge the male-driven narratives.
I wanted my chosen props to incorporate both a companion (styling head!) and an adventure - despite the circumstances!
